Fred Weil represents Moraga-Orinda Fire District’s Division 2. Fred
and his wife, Joan, have been Moraga residents since 1972 and have
raised three children, all of whom attended schools in Moraga. They have
two grandchildren.
Fred earned a B.S. degree in 1964 from the Illinois Institute of
Technology and a J.D. degree in 1967 from the University of Chicago Law
School. He is a Partner at Hanson, Bridgett, Marcus, Vlahos and Rudy,
LLP in San Francisco, where he practices corporate, tax and general
commercial law and is a member of the firm’s management committee.
Shortly after moving to Moraga, Fred became a homeowner's association
Board member and served on two Town of Moraga Committees. Fred has been a community volunteer for over 35 years. He has served on
public boards for 21 years, including 8 years on the Moraga School
District Governing Board (1979-1987), and 13 years on the Acalanes
School District Governing Board (1987-2000). |
