Pete Wilson was born in New York City, graduated from Trinity College
with a BS degree in geology, served in the U.S. Coast Guard, and moved
to Orinda in 1964.
He served on the Board of Hacienda Homes, the Orinda Association, and is
currently Board member and Treasurer of the Regional Parks Association.
Pete retired in 1994 as a Principle with Alexander and Alexander ending
a 30 year career as an employee benefits consultant.
Pete was appointed to the Board of the “old” Orinda Fire District. He
served as Vice Chairman of the Orinda Study Group to plot the course of
the Orinda Fire District, and on the joint Moraga and Orinda study group
which formulated the application to LAFCO to merge the Moraga and Orinda
Fire Districts. He was elected to the first Board of Directors of the
Moraga-Orinda Fire Protection District in 1997 and served as President
in 2005.
Pete and his wife have three daughters and seven grandchildren.
