| Battalion Chief Bryan Collins Bryan began his
Fire service career with the City of Seaside Fire Department in 1984 as
a Firefighter. He was then hired as a Firefighter for the Orinda Fire
District in 1985 and promoted to the rank of Fire Captain with the
Orinda Fire District in 1996. Bryan’s responsibilities as a Captain
included Emergency Response, Training, Research and Development and
purchase of Personal Protective Clothing, and the District’s ground
ladder program. In 2000 Bryan was promoted to the rank of Battalion
Chief at the Moraga-Orinda Fire District. Currently his primary
responsibilities include Facilities and Apparatus and Emergency
Response.
Bryan is a Certified Fire Officer, and Chief Officer with California
State Fire Training, and holds an Associate of Science degree in Fire
Technology from Solano Community College, and a Bachelors of Science
degree in Occupational Studies from California State University Long
Beach.
