Rescue One Foundation

Welcome to the first citizen-inspired foundation in the State of California working entirely in support of its local fire district and paramedic programs.

Rescue One Foundation, was established in 1977 as a non-profit , philanthropic organization to receive and administer contributions in support of our district’s paramedic programs and to purchase equipment for our emergency medical responders.

Through this unique support program, we help to improve our emergency medical response services so vital to the welfare of all the residents of Moraga and Orinda.

Over the years the Moraga-Orinda Fire District has answered thousands of calls from victims of heart attacks, accidents, and sudden illnesses. With financial help from Rescue One Foundation, the emergency medical response units have complete contact with local hospital emergency rooms and provide emergency transportation to these local hospitals. Rescue One Foundation donors have made possible the purchase of such vital items as CPR training equipment, heavy rescue equipment, and state of the art cardiac monitors/defibrillators that provide wireless data transmission to local hospitals.

All contributions are fully tax deductible and may be made in the form of gifts of appreciation, memorials or annual donations. To participate in this community support effort you may drop off or send your contribution to:
