ORINDA, CA – On Tuesday, February 5, 2013, the Moraga-Orinda Fire District responded to a vehicle accident on Moraga Way, near Stein Way in Orinda.  The accident was reported at 2:23 in the afternoon.  Firefighters arrived quickly and found a vehicle, which had struck a tree as it left the roadway and then plunged into the creek bed.  The driver was extricated by firefighters and then taken by MOFD Paramedics to a local trauma center with moderate injuries.

Personnel from MOFD and Orinda PD responded to the scene.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by Orinda PD.
