NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Moraga-Orinda Fire Protection District is soliciting proposals from a qualified contractor to design, purchase materials and install cattle fencing and gates at the Painted Rock and Moraga GHAD property located in Moraga, CA.   MOFD is accepting proposals from qualified companies to design, purchase materials  and install +/- 7,805 linear Feet of five-strand barbed wire cattle fencing and +/- 8,126 linear feet of five-strand wildlife-friendly (no barbs on bottom strand) cattle fencing including 7, Powder River - Gate - Classic HD - 16’ - Lever Latch - Green; 3, Powder River - Gate - Classic HD - 4’ - Lever Latch - Green; 1,  Powder River - Gate - Classic HD - 6’ - Lever Latch - Green access gate at the Painted Rock Property (John Muir Land Trust) and the Moraga Geologic Hazard Abatement District (GHAD) in the Town of Moraga.

Sealed Bid Due Date: Open Procedure: Sealed bid packets shall be submitted to the Administration office at 1280 Moraga Way, Moraga, CA 94556 and shall be identified as bids on the envelope.  Bids must be received at the Administration office (1280 Moraga Way, Moraga, CA 94556) no later than 5:00pm on November 7, 2023.  Bids shall be opened in public at the Administration office at 9:00 AM on November 8, 2023.  An optional pre-bid conference and site visit will be conducted for interested bidders at the Painted Rock property.  Interested bidders will meet at MOFD Station 42, 555 Moraga Road, Moraga, CA on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 9:00AM.
