How to Sign-Up

Use the on-line form to request a free, non-enforcement related, home assessment from the Moraga-Orinda Fire District's Volunteer Community Wildfire Safety Ambassadors. 

What to Expect:

• The assessment is free and usually takes about 45 minutes to complete depending on questions you may have.
• The ambassadors will not need to go inside your home or into your backyard.
• The ambassadors have been trained to point out things that homeowners might have overlooked while preparing for the upcoming wildfire season.
• The ambassadors will leave you with a checklist of items that will help you keep your property safer from wildfire and compliant with the MOFD Fire Code. 
• The ambassadors can only assess the property identified in this request that you occupy. 
• We are happy to assess groups of home but each resident must fill out their own assessment request form. Please talk with your neighbors and encourage them to request an assessment too!
• An ambassador will contact you (either by phone or email) to set up an appointment for your assessment
